Hi everyone,

When I started out building web sites I wasn't sure how long I would be in business so I built each of my customer's sites using their own hosting account and DNN installtion. Now I would like to start consolidating those accounts into one DNN installation. Short of rebuilding each site, is there any way to export out a portal, and then import it into another installtion? If not could this feature be implemented without to much trouble?

Thanks,

Mark Garcia

Mark,

In theory yes, but in practicality maybe not.

There are many concerns here.

1.) Are you REALLY sure that you want them on the same installation?  There are risks associated with this.

2.) You can export a template and import to another installation, but it only moves content for modules that support IPortable....and not everything comes across...
