Unfortunately I don't have the tools to recompile a new DLL -

Could anybody send me a fixed DLL for the currnet version -

this would be an awesome feature in the upcoming 02.02.02 version.  It would also be nice to exclude registration addresses...  Using AD for an internal store for employees, and prefer not to have them editing that information (or not syncing it!).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Lee,

You can download Visual Studio Express 2008 with SP1 (free at Microsoft web site) to edit the solution. I will add more features to enable "common" users to manage the Store informations in the version 3 of the Store module. Concerning the registration address, I have never used AD. Can users change their address in AD? Is it not a way to prohibit it in AD?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

OK - will try that.  Any noob advice on doing so would be appreciated.

We don't use the AD for storing addresses, so when the store presents the registration addres it's blank...  And there isn't a way to have it edited, so i just want to hide the choice and make them create a new 'home' or shp to address.  While recompiling, any way to make this happen?

Like the more recent changes on this project.  Any ETA on v.3?

Hi Lee,

After installing VS, please read this post to prepare your dev envrinonment. In the project DotNetNuke.Store.Providers.Address.DefaultAddressProvider, open the class AddressController.cs and comment lines 62 and 63. This two lines add the user registration address to the user addresses list.

I do not have a date nor schedule about the v3. Currently, we are waiting to release the 02.02.01 version! ;-)
