I installed DNN 5.1 on my local machine for testing. At the time of the installation, I chose not to install any of the other core modules. However, now i am ready to install them and i cannot find where to install them. In 4.X, i thought there was a list of checkboxes at the bottom of the module definitions page where i could install a core module that was not previously installed. Have these moved? Is this possible in 5.x?

thanks!

If you go to Host->Extensions and scroll all the way down to the bottom, there is an option for Install Available Extensions. Click that and you should see the familiar looking available modules.

My list of available extensions is empty. It says "No modules available". Hm, maybe something happened during hte install. Thanks for your help.

If you look in the %root%\install\module directory, you should see the modules available for installation from the Available Extensions page. If you grab the PA of the modules you want to install and rename them to .resources instead of .zip (i.e. Blog_03.05.01_Install.zip to Blog_03.05.01_Install.resources), you will then see the modules on the Available Extensions page. Another way to install the moduels directly is to copy the PA into the directory and hit http://yourdomain/install/install.aspx.

John,

"Available modules" lists the .resources files. I assume the files didn't get unzipped properly. re-unzip all files from upgrade package and retry please.
