Ok, I downloaded the full install for 4.9.4 and uploaded all the files to my server.
I changed the web.config to the correct connection strings.

Then, I go to the site. It takes a while but finally comes up as normal but never does any upgrade.

Now I cannot log in at all but the site seams to be working.

I also tried to go to http://www.mysite.net/Install/Install.aspx?mode=upgrade and http://www.mysite.net/Install/Install.aspx?mode=install
But I just get a blank page and nothing happens

Any ideas what is going on why doesn't it do the upgrade and why can't I log in now ?

When upgrading from a DNN version > 4.6.2, please don't touch web.config

restore previously used web.config and retry.
