So when are we actually going to see the store 2.2 module?  I've read in many different posts all kinds of new good features but no one has given a real time frame to release.  I've seen multiple times that it will be submited in two weeks but that's been months since the actual post.

I must admit that we probably made a timing error when we decided to make the module xhtml compliant just when we were about to release v 2.2. We are sorry for announcing to short timeframes.

We repeatedely underestimated the time needed to make XHTML compliant a code with so many dynamically rendered elements.

We should have requested the reviewers team to publish first, and make the xhtml changes for the next version. Almost every piece of code has changed since then and Gilles has been doing his best, but he also spends time in the forum.

Please note that we have very little testing and debugging help from the community. In fact, almost no feedback, especially with the authorize.net payment provider, which is not very commun here in Europe so we cannot have a feedback from our own customers. It should be tested by the US community.

There is good news tought: the 'beta' versions on www.dnn.fr can be considered Release candidate and there will be upgrade pathes from any of these intermediate versions.

Is there a list of changes so that we know what to test and what the new features are?  I installed the new version of store but so far have not seen any changes other than visual improvements.

I am new to DNN. I am currently using the store module, however is there any way in the current version, to add additional options, with addtitional costs to a products? Example for a product have it available in different colours, and each colour maybe have a different additional cost associated with it?

Thanks

John, there are many new features and small bugs fixes, have a look at the SQL scripts and have a look at the new table fields, and also at the new CSS classes.

What we need most is testers (and feedbackers) for the payment providers, especially authorize.net.

Jenna, colors, size and other properties are on the roadmap but before we need to publish version v 2.2, which is currently a beta 2.1.17 available for testers on www.dotnetnuke.fr. We will ensure that early adopters of ours betas will have an update path to the official version coming soon (maybe 2 weeks ;)
