Hi,

I'm migrating my forum across to my new dnn site, and I have a lot of lovely emoticons which are pertinant to my site and I want to keep.

I've seen some threads about adding a Gallery module to do this, but the posts are very old and the Gallery module doesn't seem to be available or is being developed as far as I can see.

Can I add my own smilies to the current small amount available as standard?

Thanks

Since Forum 4.3.0 the gallery module didn't longer integrate in the Forum module.  Since the new Version 4.5.3 is released it had a new function to upload emoticons.  If you need a Gallery, I can tel you that the Gallery team had released a first new Beta of Gallery 04.03.00 on codeplex (not for production!).

If you using still a Forum 03.x I suggest first try a upgrade on a Sandbox.

I think using emoticons via the HTML providers are the best solution (which you can see in use here).

Thanks, I've sussed it - found a Smilie folder in the Host directory via File Manager
