Hi

I am trying to install DNN from the source download, but everytime I get to the host setup page of the installer I get the following error:

Host User Error:
The email address is invalid.

It doesnt matter what email address I use, I get the same error.

This is using DotNetNuke_Community_05.01.01_Source.

Thanks

Is it a valid email address?  formatted as in bob@foo.bar?

Also, why are you using the source version?

I ran into the same issue with the normal (non-source) version.

It turns out that DNN doesn't accept the TLD we use for internal mail addresses (x@domainname.local), but it worked by entering an address with .com as TLD.

you may need to modify the email validation regex in user settings.
