Dear Sir

I am using user defined xslt , I notice that when you have no hits for a search, you just get no items showing .This can be confusing to users so I was wondering if there is a way to have a message display that says something like "No results found  like the one in default grid view

Thanks for your reply , It works but i have 2 small problems 

1) It shows "No result Found" before i press the search button.

2) I choosed paging = 5 , the same problem it shows the navigation bar before i start the search.

You are suffering on a combination of existing bugs and required enhancements. A workaraound is possible but not trivial. I expect a docuntenation about customizations of search within the next day, a team member is currently summing it up.
