Hi

I am using DNN 3.2.2 and I want to upgrade to DNN 4.9.4.

Could tell me how I can do it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Take a look at : http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs/articletype/articleview/articleid/106/upgrading-dnn-3x-to-dnn-4x.aspx

and if you are still with SQL 2000 dont try to go to 5.0.1 or 5.1.1 there are still installations errors.

To future proof you should be looking at SQL Server 2005 (but I suggest SQL Server 2008 ) and ASP.NET 3.5 SP1. You might want to make this part of your upgrade plan.

Thanks for your answers!

I am using the Install Kit (not Upgrade Kit) of the following versions – 3.2.2., 4.0.3., 4.3.7., 4.4.1., 4.6.2., 4.9.4

I have errors during upgrade from DNN 441 to DNN 462.

The first error was Unauthorized Access Error.

After I fixed this error, I have a new error -

Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: type
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Could you tell me how to fix the last error?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Doru,

please try to restart the application. Make sure, the web.config matches release.config, besides custom settings of your site.
