Hi Everybody,

I have just intalled the latest version of DNN 5.1.0 and i am trying to install some modules in it like Announcement in left pane and text/html module in content pane. But the problem is teh size of left pane is such small my one line text becomes 5-6 lines. so it doesnt looks nice. Is there any way i can increse the size of the left pane. right now i am using the default skin. or may be you can suggest me any skin where i can adjust all these panes.

you can find your defalut skin at following path

\Website\Portals\_default\Skins\MinimalExtropy\index.ascx

Go to ascx and find followin line code

<td valign="top" id="LeftPane" class="LeftPane" runat="server"></td>

and add with="300px" or something as you desired or in skin css find LeftPane class add ther width

Thanks for your reply Leo,

It worked for me exactly i want but there is one more issue if you can help me with that too it will be fantastic. In the same announcement module when we give heading for an announcement and tehn the description for a particular announcement then there is a differnce of 4-5 lines, in otherwordsgap between the heading and description of annuncement is 4-5 lines which looks very weired. Is there any way to reduce that till 2 lines.

 my leftPane doesn´t change its size, why could it be?
