 Hi   All

I  have  one importent problem in  dotnetnuke

we have used documents module in our portal .

We upload  some important documents  to  our portal its only accessible registered  users only

Its everything working fine . but after sign in the user ,user  will get full  address  of the document

So next time the user need not sign in the portal he will access the document, directly get  from the url

For example

www.Domain.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Q9KQ2Na50LE%3d&tabid=132&mid=640&forcedownload=true

I need to product the direct url access to download

Hi gopi govind,

I see you are already using the "fileticket" functionality. That is the first step in securing files in a DNN site. The next step is to go to the DNN file manager and lock down the files to a specific role or user. You can select the folder/files you want to secure and set the security permissions (there is a permissions grid below the file manager) just like you would on a page or a module. After you do so, DNN will verify the user's permissions before allowing them to see the file.

I hope that helps,

Ian
