I'm sure this has been answered but, I haven't been able to find it in a search. I am new to DNN and have a noob question for all. I recently installed DNN on my hosting provider and all seemed to go well.  I have access to the site and have editing my site with out a problem. However I had to get a html string that would forward my www.doamin_name.com to the database where the site lives. I am sure there is just a file that needs to be loaded in root where I have index.html thats being used to redirect to the database or editing of the index.html so that it loads the home page of my site. Please help.

Thannks In Advance!

Chris

To resolve the domain name, you need the proper DNS settings to point that domain name, and the www host name in your case, yo your site.  Then you need to install DNN in the root of your site, not as a subfolder.  If you install to a subfolder, that subfolder must be included in the URL, so if you installed to the /dnn subfolder your site would be at www.sample.com/dnn/, not at www.sample.com.
