I've been struggling with installing the install files all over the weekend. I have managed to get this far but and now well and truly stuck.

I'm using a laptop running WinXP, .net framework 1.1 thru 3.5 SP1, IIS 5.1, SQL Express 2008. The install instructions say IIS 6.0 or newer so maybe this is the reason but I can't see how to upgrade.

I've set up IIS and the C:/DotNetNuke folder as specified but get the following when browsing to http://localhost/DotNetNuke.

 Can anyone help me out here?

Then bribe the IT guy.  Modifying the access details isn't simple, but the article spells it all out.  Provided you have the base knowledge needed of course.
