hey

When we want to create a new c# module project by "dotenetnuke compile module" template we  encounter following error message:

the project file 'c:\Documents and Settings\m981& 3pid \ localsettings \ temp \ oyj14ag0.vhc\temp\guestbooks.csproj' cannot be opened.

the project type is not supported by this installation.

we use professional visual studio 2005.

thank you

I believe you need VS SP1 in order to use the template. Have you verified you have SP1?

No problem. Did that fix your issue?

 John

Thanks for your attention to my problem; I have instaled VS2005 Sp1 but another problem has occured:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\jo1s3zml.g5m\Temp\ModuleName2.csproj(109,11):
The imported project "C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" was not
found. confirm that the path in the <import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk.

as you can see above, v9.0, but my system program' folder name is v8.0, if we rename the folder to v9.0 the project will create, now my question would be if we rename the folder to v9.0. the other project will encounter with any problems or not?

best regards

M981
