Does anybody know if there is a way to REinstall multiple modules at once?

Currently I am placing all of my developed modules in the Install/Modules folder of my site, and then I go to http://www.mywebsite.com/install/install.aspx?mode=installresources but this does install anything correctly.

This reinstalls all of the .dll's but does not change any of my .ascx files. Currently, the way I reinstall my modules is by using Host>>Module Definitions to reinstall all modules iteratively. To say the least, with 60+ modules, this becomes quite time consuming.

I am considering uninstalling all of the modules, reinstalling them with the above method, and them loading a portal template into the site. This is also time consuming though.

Anybody know of a better way? Thanks!

Your installation procedure should still be supported, which DNN version are you using?

I am using 05.00.01

I found this link www.codeendeavors.com/Blog.aspx that explains that the install does not work correctly and offers a code change to allow repairing modules. I really do not want to have to do this because this adds too many variables.

If this can be fixed by upgrading DNN then that would be great.

Thanks for the help!

AFAIK this issue has been fixed in DNN 5.1

support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx

I found this regarding this topic. It appears to be fixed. My modules were using the same version number and my issue was exactly as stated in that support ticket. I am testing in 5.1.1 to see if it is genuinly fixed.
