  • Are you using VS 2008 SP1?
  • did you setup web site properly? I wouldn't start recompile, before your got the alrady compiled web site up and running
  • make sure to adopt web site path according to its localtion on your computer, using a text editor before opening the file with VS2008

Hello,

  •  Yes. I am using VS 2008 SP1.
  •  I did setup website properly. I had copied source to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke_Community and created virtual directory  named it "DotNetNuke_Community"

I was not able to open solution when i right clicked on  DotNetNuke_VS2008.sln---> Open With ---> MS Visual Studio Version Selector. It got hanged and not responded. But when i tried to open solution by VS studio 2008 --> File --> Open Project it works.

I had build solution and its Succeeded. Now when i am trying to run WebSite-->Default.aspx it gives me following error...

              URL:- http://localhost/DotNetNuke_Community/Website/Default.aspx

Error:- BC30002: Type 'IClientAPICallbackEventHandler' is not defined.

What could be the possible reason ?
