I've upgraded my DNN instance and when I try to login using Firefox I get errors and the site will not let me log in, conversely, when I attempt to log in using IE everything goes as planned.

Anyone else experience this? The site I'm working on is www.PlanetAviator.com. Go ahead and give it try...

Thanks,

Hmmm - I overlooked that, I'll blame that on it being late....

This brings up another point then. Has anyone created a login script (perhaps javascript) for the login page that checks to make sure javascript and cookies has been enabled when a user is logging in?

Also, where / how, do we change the error page dnn displays when there is an error.  I'm not a fan of the default error page.

Thanks for the help Sebastian!

Hi Sebastian -

At home, I've tried to log into the site using Firefox, cookies are enabled, javascript is too. Using the web developer Firefox plugin I can see there is one error:

$.getScript is not a function

Line 24 of initWidgets,js The offending line is in bold. I'm not convinced this is the problem though:

function loadWidgets()
{
    if (typeof (DotNetNuke) === "undefined")
        Type.registerNamespace("DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls");

    if (typeof (DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.Utility) === "undefined")
        $.getScript($dnn.baseResourcesUrl + "Shared/scripts/DotNetNukeAjaxShared.js",
                    function() { $.getScript($dnn.baseResourcesUrl + "Shared/scripts/widgets.js"); });
    else
        $.getScript($dnn.baseResourcesUrl + "Shared/scripts/widgets.js");
}

Weird that I can log in from work using Firefox but not here - I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this error?

Herb
