Hi,

In DNN v 4.9.0 we have Htmltext table in the db where we can give images in the DesktopHtml for a corresoonding ModuleId. I can't see it in DNN v 4.9.4.In the DNN v 4.9.0 I used to show some image in the Home page , which is given in the Htmltext table. My problem is that when I created a new application based on the DNN v 4.9.4.,I need to show some images in the Home page only. I created my own skin and if i add some images directly in the ascx file it should display when we select some modules too.(that I don't want).

Please giude me how to achieve this. ASAP.

Thanks in advance..

regards

Fen

There has been no change in Text/HTML between DNN 4.9.0 and 4.9.4

if you need to provide some content on DNN installation, I suggest to create a portal template (see host ::: Portals).

Hi Sebastian,

             Thanks for the quick reply.

I doubt you didn't get what I was trying to say. I have one portal say  localhost/dnn. On the first time page load i need to dispaly an  image and a button for redirecting to another site. The problem I faced was , in the custom skin which I made,  if I added the image and button, it will display on all modules click. I need this image and button only on the initial page load ie on Home page. In 4.9.0 what I did was in the Htmltext table i mentioned this . So that it fullfill my requirement(might be the method was wrong). But in 4.9.4 i can't see the Htmltext table in the DB. So that  I can't reproduce my result. If there is any other option please guide me.

regards

fen
