 I have just uploaded a new version of the iFinity Url Master module.   This is a patch release of the 1.14 version, specifically for the DNN 5.1.x codebase.

This version patches a bug which can cause either cache directory security exceptions, or a database timeout.  Not all installs are affected, it only seems to affect a small minority of sites.   I recommend upgrading to this latest version if you are using DNN 5.1 or are thinking about upgrading.

The Url Master module provides total control over the Urls in your DNN websites, incorporating search and human friendly Urls, custom Urls and redirects.  If you haven't reviewed the module before, why not download a trial version today and see how it can improve your DNN site?

Hi Bruce,

This is good for DNN 4.9.4 still right?

I'm hoping it will fix some of my DisplayName issues (any name with " in it falls over).

Unfortunately there still seems to be an error in DisplayNames with " in them with the new version.

Ok, sorry Bruce, cancel that - it seems to be my mistake - I have an Active Social profile module on the profile page which is throwing the error on those urls for certain users. I'll raise it with AS. I'll see if any URLs are still failing but it's probably ok now...

Rodney : yes, still good for 4.6 - 5.1.  The changes are just compatibility changes for 5.1 but are also backwards compatible.

Sorry - no fix for your display name problems.  I've got them logged, will be correcting in a future release.  This release had to go out with minimal changes to fix problems some people were having with 5.1.
