I am having an issue with my page rendering correctly in firefox.  The website is esolcamba.org.  It looks fine in ie but when i open it in firefox the menu is above where it is supposed to.  Can anyone help me with this?

A few things before you get started:

  1. Does your Skin file have a valid XML Doctype?
  2. What version of DNN?
  3. Is it a custom skin, or did you puchase the skin?

Next:

  1. Download Web Developer Toolbar, or Firebug - this will help you error-trap your CSS and markup.
  2. Get the site looking as it should in a Standards Compliant browser  - FIREFOX - first, and worry about useless IE later
  3. Once you have bugs ironed out for FF, write conditional CSS for IE afterwards.

Know it doesn't answer your question, but if you want to know how to fix it, that's the best way to start.

 1. Yes the XML is valid.  Did not change it at all.

2. version 4.9 I believe it is

3. It is a custom skin.  Basiclly edited the default skin into what I needed it to be.

I downloaded the web developer toolbar and there don't appear to be any out right errors.  a few warnings but i don't believe any of them could cause such disaster.  any more tidbits of helpful information?

FF renders the page correctly , you will have to open skin.css and add this:

.strepe_color {
background-color:#2B7D84;
background-image:url(images/color_strepe.gif);
background-position:left center;
background-repeat:repeat-y;
height:14px;
width:960px;
clear:both;
