Hi,
I;m having trouble installing DNN on my windows web server 2008
Creating a database don;t give problems with msql
I run plesk 9.2
The problem is the virtual directory.
I can create one but...
How do I configure the virtual directory correctly?
If I chose as application pool  DefaultAppPool or Classic .NET AppPool there is no acces to the path.  I get an error
I only have acces to the path with  plesk(default)(2)(pool) but then i can't install DNN
Anyone?

Hi Patrick,

I suggest to create it's own ApplicationPool for each hosting.  Then set the permissions for the IIS_USR....(username) to read permission, the IIS_WPUSR(name) give full access for the virtual directory and the sub folders and files.  I have written a article in german for Plesk 8, but I am not sure if it worked also on Windows 2008 64-bit with Plesk installed.

If you could understand german you can check out it on http://www.dnn-usergroup.de/Community/Artikel/tabid/65/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/12/PageID/13/Installation-von-DotNetNuke-unter-PLESK-fur-Windows.aspx  it is illustrated too.

If it doesn't help feel free to ask here in the forum.
