Environment: Virtual Dedicated Server running Plesk 9.2.1 on Win2008/IIS7/SQL2008

I'm getting a security exception error when I run the DNN 5.1.1 install.aspx or default.aspx script

1. Created domain, DB and DB user in Plesk
2. Created Virtual Directory (dnn) pointing to /httpdocs with read and write permissions, and execute permissions set to "Script and Executables"
3. Copied DNN 5.1.1 files to vhosts/*domainname*/httpdocs folder
4. Set the connection strings in web.config
5. In IIS, set Full rights to IWPD_xx and IUSR_xx users for the /httpdocs folder. Plesk did not allow me to change access rights to the httpdocs folder using the File Manager (access attributes not selectable)

Outcome: security exception error
Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.
Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

After searching online for solutions and following several installation tutorials, I even deleted the .Security file in the httpdocs folder and got Plesk to check permissions for the domain so as to recreate the .Security file - this failed as well. The utility's output reported permissions problems on ALL folders and files in the domain.

I've removed and reinstalled the domain in Pesk and repeated the setup process many times - all failed with the same security exception error. I've posted this on Parallels Plesk forum in case it was a Plesk issue (permissions and .Security files) with no replies from Aug 16th.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone with experience setting up DNN 5.1.1 and Plesk 9.2.1?

The problem is that Plesk did not allow permission changes to the httpdocs folder.  But on a virtual server you can change the permissions over the Windows Explorer.  Go to the vhosts/domain/httpdocs folder and open the folders settings and go to security change the settings for the IWPD_xx user to full access and for the IUSR_xx to read and refer this settings to the subfolders and files.

At time I am not sure if it need some enhancements also on the application pool for the IIS7.

I had discuss the permission issues several times with the Paralles (before SWsoft) Support, but they still on the side that this settings are a security risk.  I didn't have found any way at time on my sites that this should be a risk.

I like to look that I will write a blog how configure a Plesk Hosting for use with DNN.  But this needs many time for me, so please understand I couldn't do it in the near time.
