Hi there

I am trying to send email and it didn't work so I looked the configuration under Host > Host Settings > SMTP Server Setting. So I set to point out Exchange Server. Due to this webserver is outside the network so I set to BASIC authentication and set the SMTP Username and password. But everytime, I test the email. I got the following error:

There has been an error trying to send the test email. The error is:
The message was not delivered to the following address(es) -

My questions are:

1) What email address it try to send to? It didn't say in the error message above.

2) How do I trace this issue?

Thanks

Hi,

1. the Email address which is used to sending E-mail is the E-Mail you set up in the Host Settings. The Test sending the e-mail also to those address.

2. Make sure how your Exchange Server is configured.  Then set up your SMTP settings for the DNN.
