Links displayed in both the last post portion of my forum and individual user's posts are shortened such that the entire link is not shown.  How can this be changed?  I can't seem to find where the module is hard-coding that information into the html that gets sent to rendering.  It does not seem like this is being caused by a CSS setting.

I am not 100% certain what you are saying is an issue. I can say that the forum doesn't manipulate links for last post info at all and links within post body content are not touched at all either. Are you doing any URL Rewriting that is not the stock core (or perhaps additional rules)? It could be your HTML provider manipulating links for post body content too (depending on which one you are using and settings).
