Morten,

thank you for checking this out. Please report the issue in the public bug tracker at http://support.dotnetnuke.com.

If you want to publish you Language pack, please follow the procedure listed at the localization pages. Do either include core localization only or all default modules, so there is no error thrown during installation.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Hi Morten

Allow me a question... Off topic

Do you by any chance have the danish version of the store-module?

Best regards

Hi Carsten.

i am working on it... a lot of text to translate.

By the way in the meantime iv'e change the ftb editor witch is standard in dotnetnuke. use this editor insted http://www.cutesoft.net/download/NukeEdit4.zip

The Ftp editor makes the "Object not ref.." ERROR, on the DK language pack too. there is a guide how to install it included in the pack. i've made a VD (http://urban-it.dk/DKLG) on my site where you can download the language pack core module, without errors

Hi

I just downloaded the Danish language pack you referred to for 4.3.3, and it did translate most of the things. Unfortunately it did not translate the "Register" page. Can you tell me what I have to do to translate that page to Danish?

Thanks!

/Michael

  1. log in as host
  2. go to languages in Host menu
  3. select the resource verifier and run it to see all missing resource files and files with missing or obsolete items
  4. Note: In DNN 3.3.3/4.3.3 there a five module resource files with duplicate entries
  5. Note: IN DNN 4.3.3, there are about 12 files with ASP.Net 2.0 format, that is not recognised correctly by resource verifier atm. The translation of this files is stated to have missing or obsolete entries, while they are complete
  6. I use to print the list in target language
  7. go back and select the language editor, switch to your target language and turn on highlighting of missing translations
  8. from the tree on the left, select one by one the files listed in the resource verifier list
  9. translate all missing values and save the file
  10. go back and use create language pack, to save your work

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
