is it possible to:

1. add custom labels and text boxes to a DNN module...
2. OR add a custom page directly into the back end.

1. custom labels:
I would like to add my own custom labels to a module/page,
e.g. something like this:

Enter your National Insurance Number in the box below »

e.g. AB123456C

as shown on this page: http://www.sypensions.org.uk/requestFunds_start.aspx

The above label and text box is taken from our old site (aspx page and a code behind aspx.vb page) with the following page directive:
 <%@ Page Language="VB" Inherits="Confirmation" Src="Confirmation.aspx.vb" Debug="true" %>

I am basically trying to replicate the above page and place into our new DNN page (and don't know the best way to progress).

2. Placing a custom aspx and aspx.vb page directly into the back end

I've also tried a test, with the above page (http://www.sypensions.org.uk/requestFunds_start.aspx) and tried placing it directly in our DNN root folder with the accompanying .vb page, but this returns an error. I'm not sure if it's to do with the page directive? or if I'm not supposed to place pages here? (root level - in the same place as the default.aspx) ?

[using DNN 5.1.1, SQL Server 2000]

thanks,
mark.

Hi,

   1. add custom labels and text boxes to a DNN module  --  yes these controls can be added to existing module (you must have source code of this module)

   2. OR add a custom page directly into the back end  --  Directly added pages are not accessible in dnn. You will have to add new module and achieve your desired functionality.

i've got the install package,

can the source package be downloaded over the install package easy enough?

i'm thinking that the best option could be to use an iFrame.

thanks,
mark
