Hi,

I've developed an application using DNN 5.1.1 . And users complaint  for the lost page content after  back, forward actions. Forexample textbox1 has a text 'hello world' inside it. If you postback the page textbox1 loses its content. Why? And this is valid for all DNN sites. Even for this forum also. And what can i do with it? Any idea? Thanks ..

Inanc

ASP.NET support view state by default, so DNN 5.x too, please make sure

  1. "keep view state" has be set to "ture" for your control
  2. you checked the IsPostBack bool indicator when you initial the controls.

Sorry,

you mean ="true" in the default.aspx? But, it is already true as you said by default in.NET framework..and there is no code like ="false" anywhere in my application

What do you mean by 'you checked the IsPostBack bool indicator when you initial the controls.'? Where is that indicator? Can you explain a little bit more please?

Enableview_state
