We are developing a new module for DotNetNuke 5.1.1 and would like to pass querystring parameters in search result links.

Our module implements ISearchable in its Controller class.

We build add new SearchItemInfo objects to our SearchItemCollection in our GetSearchItems method.

The New SearchItemInfo can be overloaded to include a string called 'Guid'.

Please could someone explain what this string is being used for. We thought it might enable us to pass parameters in the search result links.

Any help appreciated.

Yes, you may pass qs parameters using the GUID parameter, please check out core modules like forums, which use it.

skip trailing "?" - and, if possible, use itemId only.
