What are the steps to upgrade from 4.4.3 to 4.5.3?

Rui,

go to Host :: Module Definitions (or Host :: Extensions in DNN 5) and select "install new module". Browse for your file and click install.

Done.

Note: It is advisable, to backup files and database prior to every module installation!

I suggest restore your files and database.  Then make sure the permissions for your physical folders, subfolders and files are setting well.  A "Give Over" for all subfolders and files in your DNN directory make it sure that all permissions setting well, if they set well for your root folder.

Then retry the update.

I am doing a remote instalation from the portal using the IE.

What permissions I need to have and for each user?
