Something similar is happening with the blogging module now. I wonder if it's the core framework that's the issue.
No change with 4.3.2 either. Below is a crash dump after the blogs module crashing (and similar for events)

Crash here for scheduler, note my permissions are set correctly for Network Service file permission. Surely it should throw an exception anyway if it could not write a file?:

nb Setting the cache time to 0 seconds clears the problem. So it's definately a caching problem.

Thanks

Alex

Why would you want to use caching for your blog? I would only use caching for Text/HMTL modules and nothing else.

Makes sense now. It took a long time to for me to work this one out, caching was set by default.

So perhaps functionality needs to be added to disable caching for this module, and to stop the administrator/host from changing that setting (or just hard wire the setting into the module and get it to ignore the cache setting?).

I just wondered if 4.3.4 has cleared up these issues stated in this thread?
At the moment I have more or less everything set as zero cache in 4.3.3 to stop any of these issues.

Cheers

Alex
