Hi

I've currently been tasked with writing a custom user import/export app.  I know there are already user import/export modules available to buy but this needs to be customized quite a bit, plus we've used up our budget on graphics and doughnuts.

I've figured out which data goes where but i need a way to create userId salts.  Is this possible?

Simon

If you create your own module for user import, you need to use DNN API, which calls methods from ASPNet Membership component that is populating the membership tables. Please stand away from rewriting all the code ;)

I found an SQL work around anyway.  Not exactly elegant but it works
