Hi

In dnn4.9.2 the link which is used for web search is:
http://www.google.com/custom?q=[TEXT]&sa=Search&client=pub-9770992166002654&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en&sitesearch=[DOMAIN]
If I want to search non english text like persian text for example رمزنگاری this search doesn't work right.
It somehow does not support unicode or  what should be replace with [Text] in search can not work for other languages without encoding?

What shall I do to use we search in right way?

Anybody could help me?

Regards
Nafiseh

unfortunately. DNN search indexer is not aware of non-latin characters, when splitting words. I suggest using a 3rd party search module, which is using a different approach.

Hi

Thanks sebastian

I removed ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1& from the query and the with this non english search worked in a right way. Is this way wrong?

I thought this part is forcing to search specified text in ISO-8859-1 format in web.

If I'm doing something wrong, let me know.

Nafiseh
