I'm trying to write a stand alone .NET application, that I want to drop into an iframe.

What is the proper way to do this? I want it to be in the same URL as my DotNetNuke site, but the only way I can figure out how to make this work, is to put my pages right in DotNetNuke application, and drop my DLL's in the Bin directory, and drop my app keys in DotNetNuke web.config.  This doesn't seem practical, because I don't really want to modify the DotNetNuke app.   Is there a better way to do this?

I'd prefer to put my app in a virtual directory, so that I can keep it physically seperate, even though it's logically in the same website.

Brian,

Take a look at this link.  http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=2804 .  It may be a better option for you than an iFrame.

It looks like that is DNN v 3. I am on DNN v5, and there are a great many differences between the 2.  Will it work on DNN v5?  I'd like to get this working on DNN (without having to buy 3rd party software) if I can, are there other options to get iFrame working properly?

 1. They have 4+ version: http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=4024

2. You can also ask them directly if the module will support 5+

3. you can just include your app as a user control on a skin file directly - we've done it before for some projects - works fine.
