I suggest upgrading to DNN 4.9.5 first.

IIS 6.0 on W2003Server and SQL server2003standard

thank you Sebastian!

1- what is the best way to do complete backup before upgrade to 4.9.5 then upgrade to 5.1.2

2 - is there any "module" that can help me to do schedule backup base, IIS and DNN folders for "host" but also for "Site" by admin site

3  - are there probleme with skin when upgrade

thank you , good information , i have updated on 4.9.5 and that is good

after update on 5.1.2 and there is some problem with the language, you must valid before update the US language for all site and host ( if not impossible to have the Us language after ..), i returned on 4.9.5 with my backup and i am realy happy that can be run...

now i wait a little before upgrade on final 5.2, hope bugfixe can be corriged ..i know that i must upgrade also catalook in lastest version

some skin dont run on 5.1.2 and impossible to change from one to another ..becarful make a backup before upgrade

thank's again Sebastian

1 - zip all files and backup database from SSMS or use backup tools provided by your hosting company.

2 - There are solutions like Evoviva Bachup, but in general, backup shouldn't be scheduled from within DNN due to reliability. I'd prefer backup solutions on WIndows/SQL server level.

3 - I'd expect no problems with the skin, neither the one of your web site nor your own one ;)
