I've got an issue that occured  after about 6 months.  I cant login to a portal as host when accessing the portal by its url www.jimssite.com but I can log in as host if I access the portal via www.thehostswebsite.com/jimssite

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.

thanks

Check your portal aliases.

Also as a sidenote make sure you are on the latest DNN (4.9.5 or 5.1.2).

Thanks...

If there are further issues tell us what happens if you can't log in as host.

Also check your event viewer and make sure your firewall or privacy settings aren't blocking the domain (i.e. disabling javascript).... you could try to see what happens on another PC for instance.
