Hi there.

AD Auth Provider has a problem with login using UPN "UserName@XYZ.com" format, they will get "Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive". However if the user login with "XYZ\UserName"  format, the authentication success. Previous version of AD Auth Provider (5.0.1) got no problem to accept UPN format username but having problem to support autoregistration for new Active Directory user.

Dotnetnuke version: 5.1.2
AD Auth Provider version 5.0.2

Is the any additional configuration in order to support UPN format??

 Thanks

Hi Mohammad

There's no additional configuration needed for UPN format.

That said, I haven't had a look at 5.1.2 yet. This is my busiest time of year and by the time the day is done I don't even want to look at a computer much less log onto one. I am planning on doing an upgrade to 5.1.2 on, at minimum, my home servers this weekend so I'll test to see if I can recreate the problem you're having. There's always a possiblity that a change in the core has broken UPN connections. If it has then that's my bad as we're supposed to test these types of things before a release is made but, with work commitments, I didn't do that.
