Hi All,

I hope I have posted this in the correct section. So I apologise now if I haven't.

I have install DNN for the first time. I did a typical install of the most recent version. Install completes without a problem When I click on "go to website", I get taken to the page I would expect to be taken to.

However, when I click on any of the links on that page eg: login I get the following error below.

The website is at:
http://193.219.118.23:2122/Default.aspx

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Matt

Since you're using a non-standard port, did you enable the use of the port in the web.config?

I have the same problem have just run up version 0502.03 in visual studio 2008. probably worth mentioning that I am trying to use the Visual Studio internal web server.

I did set the "UsePortNumber" key in the config to "true".

No problem with the install and the link to continue to website functions correctly. Also it is possible to run debug and have the default  page appear in the browser as expected.

http://localhost:1296/Default.aspx

the problem starts once I try to click on the Login, Register, Home links or even on the logo. Depending on the link clicked i get a resource not found error for the corresponding link. ie. for the register link it tries to resolve to http://localhost:1296/Register.aspx?ReturnUrl=http%3a%2f%2flocalhost%3a1296%2fHome.aspx or if i click Home I get http://localhost:1296/Home.aspx.

I would appreciate any ideas on what may be causing this, I suspect it is some functionality relating to the url rewriting that is not available in the VS web server but I'm really not sure at this point. Any assistance much apprecaited.
