Hi,

I'm a newbie to Dotnetnuke and have discovered a lot. I am currently working on my site and I have one main portal and 3 child portals. The problem I'm experiencing is that if a user registers in one portal, he is unable to log into other portals and have to register again into other portals. May someone please help me with a step by step solution to this?

This is by design. A child portal is only child by the url. It is independent as normal portals.

Hi Donny,

Whilst the DNN core does not implement this functionality by design, you can achieve it with a third party module, a good example being DNNMaster's Multi Portal User Sharing available on snowcovered.com.

Hope this helps,

Lee.
