For some reason on my test site, http://www.scsaustin.com/dnn, the breadcrumb function only shows text when a second level page is selected. I tried to mess with the settings in the site XML file but, no change. Any ideas? Here's my XML detail:

Keep in mind that every time you edit the XML, you will need to re-parse the skin. The simpler (for me, at least) option is to edit the ASCX file directly, look for the < dnn:BREADCRUMB...   control and edit the setting there, you should see the attribute RootLevel="1" .  When you save the edited ASCX, you should be able to refresh the page and see the change immediately.

Set the RootLevel of [BREADCRUMB] to 0.
