I just made a new install of DNN 512 on IIS 6. I followed the wizard and was redirected to the site (all without errors). When logged in as host, i click on whatever page in the host menu and get a webpage nof found error.

Did lot of searches for a solution but found nothing. Hope someone can help me or guide me further in my search.

it sounds like an installation issue, usually caused by missing file sytem permissions for the ASP.Net account ("Network Service" by default:

I suggest to start from scratch and adjust permissions before initially accessing the web site.

This was also what I thought, but the user 'NETWORK SERVICE' has full control over the folder in which DNN is installed. I was thinking more in the direction of a problem with IIS6 settings. But I'll retry the install.

OK, I found the reason/solution. The port number on my IIS was set by me to 1234. For some reason this doesn't work. Setting it to the default 80 did do the trick.
