Resources (especially RAM) depends on caching settings, number of extensions installed and number of concurrent registered users.

AFAIR, there had been some performance advices at www.mitchelsellers.com

I do not use it currently but I do plan to use it - collecting information and  reviews now while developing my DNN web site.
