I tried to do a search to see if others were discussing this previously, but forum search is bombing right now...

Just learned that the PurgeSiteLog scheduled task is not enabled by default in a DNN installation. I can see the reason for this, but WHY, in such a modern level of DNN doesn't it automatically get turned ON or enabled when you change the Site Log History to anything other than zero in the Admin Site Settings or Host Settings ?? This should automatically be done, otherwise the dnn admin has to know to go and do both!

What I'd recommend is that when the user puts in:
ZERO - it woudl disable the scheduled job
ANYTHING ELSE - it would enable the scheduled job
