Is it possible to have only admin or a specific role be able to look at Aggregrated forum.

Here is the scenario:

A forum has 1 group for each department.

Each group will have 1 role created specific for it.

If a user of IT dept logs in he should be able to look at only IT group and not the rest.

When the mgmt dept users logs in they need to be able to look at all the groups and forums.

Hope it makes sense.

Please let me know.

Thanks

N

Is it possible to uncheck view permission to  a forum for a specific role.

I have noticed the view permission is disabled when we go to forum manager --> Edit Forum --> Options.

Please let me know.

Thanks

N

NP: The aggregated forum shows only threads that the current user can see. This means that if you have two roles and two forums (A & B) and Role A could only see Forum A Content, and likewise with B seeing on B Content:

Aggregated Forum for A role shows only content for a role. Exactly same with B.
