Hi,

Is there any way to use the Active Directory module to get users from the directory that belong to a specific department & group ?

Thanks

You mean without them having visited the website before or after they've already visited and have accounts on the site?

Either way should be OK, as long as I can get it by department & group as setup in AD, I'm to provide a dropdown where a user can be selected.

It will probably take some coding on your part to populate the drop down but the easiest way that I can see your doing it using the current provider is to use Role Synchronization. Once user's belonging to that role have logged into the site they'll automatically be put into the role.

Excellent, I'm OK with adding the code to populate the drop down - I'm just a little lost with retrieving the List of users in a role, is there a sample somewhere that I have not been able to find ?

Thanks
