Hi All,

I'm using VS 2008 SP1 and I have got downloaded and installed

DotNetNuke Community Stater Kit 5.1.4

I have created DNN web application using installed by starter kit "DotNetNuke Web Application Framework" template.
I have corrected web.config to point to my MS SQL 2005 empty DB and and have run (Ctrl+F5) DNN Web app setup.
It worked OK.

Now I wanted to add my custom module - I use "DotNetNuke Dynamic Module" (C#) template installed by starter Kit and it creates my module folders and files under App_Code and under DesktopModules folders. I do rename my module folders to my module name.
Now I wanted my module to become available on my site, how can I do that?

I'd expect that during module files creation from "DotNetNuke Dynamic Module" (C#) there could have been some special files added, which can be run by DNN to make my module available on my web site - something like CodeEndevors

http://codeendeavortemplate.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=25869

does by using VS's msbuild tasks, and then by developer's manual browsing to:

http://localhost/{DNN Web site folder name}/install/install.aspx?mode=installresources

AFAIU "DotNetNuke Dynamic Module" doesn't need static (outside of running DNN site) compilation/DLL building.

Please advise how to make just created from "DotNetNuke Dynamic Module" template module available on my test/development web site? - all module's files are already there...

Thank you.

Hi All,

OK, the following short tutorial gives some clues to the subject question:

At least it's helping me to get through...

Thank you.

P.S. Note: In the above tutorial sample SQL have to be edited to get search results.
