Hello,

I've just finished installing latest version of DNN with many modules on server 2003 x86 and SQL EXPRESS 2008.

Installation of that module never succeed and allways with an error.

I tried to repair, remove and reinstall, remove and delete tables using the SQL, but nothing worked.

If I repair the installation, I can add the forum module and the error I get is:

A critical error has occurred.
The stored procedure 'dbo.Forum_Group_GetModule' doesn't exist.

I looked and didnt find this table in the SQL.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

i can second the installation woes, although from the above, my issues seems different. Latest of dnn and forum, never installed correctly. Uninstalls don't work either, and i had to manually remove all the *Forum* tables, to which 4 would never remove due to constraint issues. I had to design each table, removing all the relationships before being able to remove the other empty tables. Now.. no variation seems to install it properly, although i get a 5-7 line report back of the install process that indicates success. But nothing.

Seems the wizard process is less than complete yet.

My dnn install is quite bareboned except for the Flex2 skin.

Just thought i better report it before i get back to trying.  drew..

After a issued install the uninstall of all database artifacts can not run successfull.  So you have to delete over the SQL Managemnt Studio all artifacts manually.  All artifacts means that also the functions, views an procedures have to be checked and cleaned.

Before you try a reinstall make sure you have all the access permissions on the physical folders and on the IIS set well. Restart the application before you run the install of the module.

Hello,

I had also problems installing the module. The first try to install the module i got a Timeout, then i tried it again (repair) and the installation succeeded. The problem now was that a lot of tables and Stored procedures were not installed.

To fix this you have to manually delete all Tables, Views and Stored Procedures in the database. Then you manually  run all the SQL scripts. This way i got het module to work properly.
