I am creating a DNN module that calls an aspx page that is in the module folder. The aspx page builds an html template I use to create a PDF document. In the aspx page I am trying to get the UserInfo object (so I can get to the logged in user information) but the object is always null. The aspx page inherits PageBase and I have tried the following:

UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo()

and

(UserInfo)Session["UserInfo"]

I also tried adding the UserInfo to the session when calling the aspx but it still turns out null.

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to get the userinfo in such a set up?

This should work, what version of DNN are you using?
