how to add .swf in DDN predefined item

HI all, I tried to add a flash banner(.swf) to replace the old company logo(.gif) at the top right hand side which is not in a module. However, it does not display. Can any one tell me how to add .swf on the predefined area? Thanks!

I login to admin, -->sit setting-->Appearance-->logo-->swf
nearby has a sloganPane but I do not know how to edit it becuase it has no edit function

You need to insert a flash a bit different than an image, it needs to be included in the skin.

I suggest to use rich text editor in text/html module, which has an insert flash button.

now switch to source code and copy generated html.

next backup and open ascx file of your skin .ascx file and replace < dnn:logo ... > with the html snippet from rich text editor and save the file.

you need to upload swf and associated files to the portal folder and use "insert flash" button to include it in a text/HTML module.
