I am here to ask you Dotnetnuke with SQL Server 2008 express managment studio.

I have DNN website backup and Database backup of 2005 sql server .bak and I uninstalled the 2005 and installed 2008 sql server express managment studio.

In IIS7 i pointed the new website to backup of Dotnetnuke site, and restored the .bak (2005) on 2008 sql server express managment studio. It not worked for me. also changed the web.config with the server name, prompting error's.

earlyer what i did the same procedure from 2005 .bak from live server to 2005 local server it worked. for 2008 how to do any changes to do in 2008 sql.

Please help me floks.

The issue is webconfig configratution with sql server 2008 express managment studio,

i have DNN 4.9.5 and SQL 2005 server, i done unistalltion of 2005 and installed 2008 express managment studio and webconfig changes doesn't work, what i done which works now for me is unistalled SQL Server 2008 Express installed SQL Server 2005 Express Managment Studio and just webconfig changes works.

Here what i understand for 2008 SSEMS it should have some sort of changes require in webconfig.

now my dnn is up and running, and i like to know what is the limitation of database in free sql managment 2005 / 2008
