Hello everybody,

Just started using/learning DNN and I think it's s great CMS!

I've installed DNN on my shared webserver under one of my domains.

Logged in as host, and added my other 2 domains, under portals as parent portals.

Everything is working fine, I was able to add pages, modules and content to my first domain - the one that I used for the installation.

Question:

1. How do I edit/add content to my other portals? Ho can I switch back and forward between portals, so I can work on multiple websites at the same time? I've tried to log in with the credentials that I set up when added the parent portals, but it didn't work.  I couldn't find any info online about this and it's driving me crazy...

2. After I edit/add content to my other portals, how do I point them to the DNN installation/database?

All my domains are hosted at the same company (ixwebhosting) and have the same name servers.

Thank you for your help!

Robert

Superusers like "host" are shared amongst sites.

to add more than one domain as additional portals, make sure to have these domains pointing to the same web site in your IIS prior to adding these portals within DNN.

you may use the same credentials in multiple portals (same username, password and email address) and switch between the sites, using "remember me"

Thank you Sebastian!

I told my webhosting company to do that and they've tried to do redirect and alias but nothing works.

Would you mind explaining in a few simple steps what they need to change in IIS?

I appreciate your help very much!

Best regards,

Robert
